Heritage tells us:

  • What we have accomplished.

It represents

Heritage preservation is not just about the past. It is about the places, spaces and stories that we value today and saving and preserving them for tomorrow.


Heritage supports the creation of unique and sustainable communities. It creates “landmarks not landfills” by restoring and purposing historic spaces for new exciting uses, which is good for the environment AND the economy. It also:

  • Enhances quality of life;
  • Fosters local identity and pride;
  • Contributes to safe and welcoming neighbourhoods;
  • Revitalizes downtown spaces

We are now seeking major gifts for the Back from the Brink campaign from individuals, corporations and foundations to meet our $250,000 fundraising goal.

These funds will lay the foundation in our efforts to save, preserve and revitalize this significant heritage property, including:

  • replacement of the building’s foundation;
  • restoration of exterior woodwork;
  • installation of modern plumbing, heating, electrical systems.

The current building footprint is 2800 square feet.   When completed, there will be 4200 square feet for an exciting adaptive reuse.
