We are delighted to announce the launch of the Heritage Skills Job Creation Partnership. The Restoration of the Red Antiquities Building will provide skill enhancement opportunities in numerous employment sectors. Over the next 12 months, this building will in fact become a learning laboratory of skills development. Pathways Skill Development and Placement Centre has created this opportunity for individuals to expand their knowledge, skills and work experience in their field.  Heritage restoration is a niche market with a scarce talent pool. With over 128 000 Canadian heritage properties to be serviced, this experience can definitely set the path to a promising career. Jobs are available in both the construction and administrative sectors.  All participants must be either on EI or have received EI in the past 3 years.  There is a need for twelve construction workers, one business development assistant, one administration and Finance coordinator, one business liaison officer, one public relations coordinator and two researchers.
